From the moment she first donned a pair of heels, Danni knew she was born to slay.

Despite being one of Sydney’s newest stars, Danni’s sparkle is already turning heads. With a creative and infectiously happy energy, Danni loves nothing more than making an audience smile and always ensures every patron is having a fabulous time.

Danni is camp, sassy and fabulous. This beauty is a trained dancer and cheerleader, and has been performing since the age of eight, inspiring an innate professionalism with a true performative spirit and an instantly loveable energy - perfectly suited to the drag art form.

As a National Grand Cheerleading champion for three consecutive years, Danni was awarded Australian Cheerleader of the Year in 2013, and has represented Australia at the United States All Star Federation’s Cheerleading and Dance World Championships three times, placing a remarkable 10th, 8th and 5th globally.

Danni has performed for the likes of Netflix, Optus, The Grounds Alexandria, Koala Mattress, Uber and 2Day FM. In 2019, Danni was the winner of the Slay 2 Stay competition presented by Universal Sydney and SDR, earning her place among Drag Royalty.

“ A very enthusiastic full house celebrated the last twelve months of the Sydney drag scene at the 2019 DIVA Awards this week.

The grand ballroom of the Paddington RSL looked splendid for what many are calling a fabulous return to form for this event, now in its twenty-ninth year.

A highlight was a performance by the five finalists from the Slay 2 Stay talent quest at Universal, featuring the winner Miss Danni Issues – this queen has a big future.

Charisma Belle was the perfect hostess with the right measure of sending and steering. There is nothing quite like seeing a queen at the top of her game – she really was wonderful.

The popular Fran Giapanni is the DIVA Rising Star for 2019.

Sia Tequila is our new Entertainer of the Year, an award voted by her peers, and there was a lot of love in the room for her as she took the stage to a full standing ovation. “
